Satori Living – Find the silence in the chaos
Satori isn't a destination, it's a way of life. It's about taking small moments to "wake up" from autopilot. Here you'll find inspiration on how you, your partner, and even your children can find more peace in everyday life.
1. Write it down (Journaling)
In a head full of thoughts there is no room for insight.
The Ritual: Take five minutes for yourself every morning or evening. No phone, just a pen and paper.
The Question: Don't write about what you still "have to" do, but write down what touched you today. Where did you see the "Common Thread"? What gave you energy?
Satori Tip: Diffuse while writing. The scent connects your brain to this moment of calm, helping you get into the flow faster next time.
2. Satori for Children (Peace in the Tent)
Children are also often "on" these days. Stimuli from school, screens, and sports.
The Moment: Create a transitional moment before bed.
The Exercise: Have them look at the mist from the diffuser (the "cloud"). Ask them to inhale deeply and, as they exhale, let all their busy thoughts drift away, just as the mist dissipates into the air.
The Result: They learn that they have control over their anxiety. A valuable lesson for the rest of their lives.
3. The 'Reset' at your workplace
Stuck in a stress loop behind your laptop?
The Action: Literally step away from your screen.
The Breath: Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat this three times.
The Focus: Return with a clear perspective. Satori is about efficiency from a place of calm, not haste.
